Whereas the P-12 award recognizes the completion of a 100km to 199km randonneuring ride in each of 12 consecutive months, the Ultra P-12 Award recognizes the completion of ten (10) P-12s. There is no time limit; there may be gaps between any of the 12-month sequences that define each P-12. [P-12 award details].
It is likely that members will have applied previously for each of the ten component P-12 awards; however, it is not a requirement to have done so. A given month can only be used towards one Ultra P-12 award and one may earn only one Ultra P-12 award during a ten-year period. The applicant must be a RUSA member during each of the 120 months included in the ten 12-month periods.
RUSA congratulates the riders who earned and applied for the Ultra P-12 award.
Apply for this award online. Once you have applied, purchase of the award is optional.
Awards are processed on a quarterly basis (every three calendar months) and there is some processing time to produce the award before it is delivered.
