Tim Sullivan, RUSA #28
Coronado, CA
Since being appointed to the Board as the RBA liaison in May I have enjoyed serving our members and working with the other Board members.
As a Board member I will continue to work on communicating with our members in order to retain them, seeking suggestions on how to make rides more enjoyable and interesting. This will also enable RUSA to attract new ridersThis can include exploring new awards such as this past year’s Scout award which incentivizes riders to explore new routes.
I have been a member of RUSA since 1998 and previously served on the Board between 2001 and 2007. Since then I have also served on the Rules Committee and have performed as a volunteer on other matters at the Board’s request. In addition I have had the pleasure of riding in various regions and meeting riders and volunteers throughout the USA.
I would like to use my experience to continue to serve on the Board on a full time basis.
Dave Thompson, RUSA #4226
New Smyrna Beach, FL
For the past three years I've enjoyed my time on the Board as your Treasurer, helping reorganize the RUSA Store, having a hand in Jersey design and lately, working on Insurance issues. It has been very rewarding working with other volunteers around the country as well as sorting out individual member issues. At times it's all consuming, however, quite frankly, I'm having a blast!
I'm in awe at the commitment from all the volunteers who keep this club going. I'm looking for your support as I would like to continue my work for another term.

Pete Dusel, RUSA #25
Ontario, NY
Over the years I've had the pleasure of meeting and riding with many of you. For those I haven’t a brief introduction is in order.
For over 10 years, I've been an assistant RBA, RBA, route designer and perm owner. I have run events from populaires to 1,000k. I have had the pleasure of hosting many of you on my LOL 1,000k. One of the few events that requires a passport check at check in! Next season, I’ll be taking that to a higher level as a 1,200k, and along with that I’d like to up my participation with RUSA by serving as the RBA Liaison.
As the main point of contact between RUSA officials and the membership, I believe RBAs have a very important job.
Other than being the RBA’s voice on the RUSA board, one of the things I’d like to do is explore ways of keeping those who, for whatever reason, haven’t the time to train, or are winding down their long-distance riding, involved in randonneuring.
