Web Team Update - September 2023

Restorative Hiatus

The Web Team has now completed most of its restorative summer hiatus. This included not only PBP but adventures such as the Mille du Sud.

Recent Activities

Charlie has compiled the following items from our activities:

• Fixed bug where RUSAF events sometimes got routes assigned during calendaring.

• Man-Fai added a cron to prevent the dev server from running out of disk space periodically.

2024 Grand Randonnée info on Home Page

Logos and links for US Grand Randonnée events will be added to the Home Page in October, once these have been submitted to the RM (LRM).  In addition, Dan Driscoll has graciously offered to maintain a spreadsheet of detailed data on those events. 

For 2022, we added a link on the home page to a Google Docs spreadsheet which Dave produced:

We’ll probably do something similar for 2024. Thanks again to Dan, as it’s considerable work and data gathering. But valuable to prospective riders.

We don’t plan to list Brevet Weeks or 8k600’s next year.  It would be interesting to gather rider and organizer reactions to the 8k600’s that were held this year.
