-
RUSA made $4K in May, so the net loss for the year was reduced from $16K to $12K.
- As a result of settlement of a legal case in which an RBA was prosecuted for running a brevet that passed through a National Park without a permit, organizers are advised to check if a permit is required before scheduling any brevet through Park lands. Permanent organizers are also advised to check with individual parks to see if permits are required.
- The board discussed options to reduce and/or distribute the work load of running the RUSA store. The options included:
- Using additional volunteers to fulfill orders.
- Have fewer items.
- Don't stock jerseys. Just have 3-4 orders per year through a vendor.
- Let people order medals only at certain times of the year.
