- Fleche Rule Discussion
The board discussed possible changes to the fleche rules that would permit teams to note their location at 22 and 24 hours, but obtain verification at the next available business.
- Reflectivity Discussion
The board discussed ways to improve guidelines for rider reflectivity, partly motivated by the low visibility of Sam Browne belts.
- PBP Jersey
The board reviewed designs that were submitted for the RUSA PBP jersey and decided to contact a jersey vendor about creating a design using some of the submitted design elements.
- Routing through National Parks; Possible Need for Permits
The board discussed recent problems with obtaining permits for rides through National Parks and problems that can happen when no permit is obtained. It is important for ride organizers to find out if they need a permit and, if so, to apply early.
