SOCIAL MEDIA CHARTER

established 2024

 

THE GOAL:

To share the spirit of Randonneuring through the mission, vision and values of Randonneurs USA.

 

THE APPROACH:

  • To showcase Randonneurs USA members, as well as develop, capture and share Randonneurs USA moments across all RUSA chapters.
  • To leverage our social channels to foster community and connection. 
  • To create content for both internal and external audiences with the sole purpose of promoting non-competitive, long-distance cycling. 
  • To give everyone a voice, inspiring viewers and followers to learn more about randonenuring and explore Randonneurs USA. 

 

THE EXECUTION:

  • Social content must align with RUSA's mission, organizational objectives as well as following the rules and regulations of Randonneurs USA and randonneuring.  
  • The approving author will create/post content that inspires our members, and potential members, sharing memorable stories, ideas, adventures/opportunities, resources and insights to help grow randonneuring in the United States. 
  • Inflammatory/disparaging personal remarks, posts that are not based in randonneuring, and unsolicited commercial email (spam) will not be tolerated and should not be posted to our channels.
  • Music must follow royalty usage guidelines and not contain any offensive lyrics/topics.
  • No political posts.
  • No religious posts.
  • No racial posts.
  • Avoid content with typos and poor punctuation.
  • No external sales or promotions of production or services outside of RUSA merchandise and RUSA associated clubs.
  • All sale/promotion of items/products must be approved by Randonneurs USA BOD and aligned with our advertisers, unless stated otherwise.
