MINUTES OF A MEETING
OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
RANDONNEURS USA, INC.
Held November 27, 2018
A meeting of the RUSA Board of Directors was convened by telephone conference to discuss insurance logistics was called to order by the president at 2000 EST.
The following Directors were in attendance:
• Debra Banks
• John Lee Ellis
• John Capn Ende
• Jake Kassen
• Dave Thompson
Also in attendance was Susan Otcenas, Insurance Chair. Lois Springsteen and Nigel Greene were absent.
Susan provided an update regarding insurance with nothing new from our current insurance agent. An additional application will be submitted tomorrow with a potential new agent. We received our renewal proposal on November 28th last year. An application to join BRDA as an interim insurance group will be submitted to our current agent tomorrow along with a $150 fee. The goal is to insure brevets through the end of the year, so the mechanics of how to use the BRDA program were discussed.
Discussion was held regarding the need for additional communication to our members and RBAs about the insurance situation.
The Board also discussed ideas for dealing with our awards programs in this period without insurance.
