MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING

OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF

RANDONNEURS USA, INC.

Held JANUARY 25, 2017

A special meeting of the RUSA Board of Directors was convened by telephone conference and called to order at 2004 EST by the President. 

The following Directors were in attendance:

• Debra Banks

• John Lee Ellis

• Nigel Greene

• Susan Otcenas

• Paul Rozelle

• Lois Springsteen

David Thompson was absent.  No others were in attendance.

The purpose of the special meeting was to select the recipient of the American RandonneurAward.  The nominees having been considered and discussed, Bruce Berg was selected as the recipient for 2016.

ACTION ITEM: The award would be obtained and presented to Bruce in a surprise gathering, to be arranged in the near-term.  The write-up of the Bruce’s award, with photos, would be completed prior to the January 31 deadline for publication in the Spring issue of American Randonneur.

The meeting was adjourned at 2037 EST.
