Web Team Update - July 2024

Just a few things this month, as summer travel and the big events have intruded on Web Team life …

Duplicate email addresses

New/Update member workflows now validate against introducing duplicate email addresses for active members. Already-existing active members are whitelisted for the time being.

Climbing

The Brevet Routes Committee can now manage elevation data for brevet routes via RideWithGPS. Corresponding back office functionality has also been added.

Still need to handle:

• Managing elevation data for events.
• Reversible permanents / events.
• RideWithGPS does a poor job modeling elevation accurately for Alaska. We may need a different mechanism for assigning elevation to their routes/events.

Calendaring: auto-filter brevet route selection by audax / allure libre
