  1. Donation of $5000 to LAW Voted and approved a donation of $5000 to the League of American Bicyclists in memory of Gustavo Antonini and William Cupples, to help LAW in their effort in promoting safety for all cycling.
  2. Wording Correction for RUSA Minor Membership Voted and approved to correct wording in the bylaws to state "Full memberships: A person shall be at least eighteen years old, or if a minor have parental consent to join RUSA.". This change makes it clear that a minor must get parental consent to join RUSA
  3. Michael Grussemeyer RBA Application (South/Central Florida) Voted and approved Michael as the Provisional RBA for St. Louis, MO region.
  4. John Jost RBA Application (St. Louis) Voted and approved John as the RBA for South/Central Florida region replacing the retiring RBA Aaron Rumple.
  5. Additional RUSA events Voted and approved additional spring RUSA events in Colorado and Iowa.
  6. RUSA Event Advanced Notice Voted and approved to change the Event Advanced Notice procedure to say: "To put a domestically-sanctioned event on the RUSA calendar, RBAs are required to submit the event to RUSA five weeks in advanced of the date the event is to be held. This gives the event a month's visibility on the RUSA website. The event info will also be published in the next available issue of American Randonneur only if the event would not have already passed by the time the issue reached readers".
  7. Modifying the ARC Award Voted and approved that in order to qualify for the American Randonneur Challenge Award, that a rider only needs to complete two 1200 KM brevets in the USA in a calendar year. This change was made because of the increased number of 1200K events in the USA.
  8. Publications report The RUSA Handbook + 2004 Results will be published and distributed in January 2005.
  9. RUSA Safety program RUSA Headquarters in Santa Cruz tested out several Sam Browne Belts, Reflective Vests, and Ankle bands in preparation for RUSA to make available to it's members these safety items. Having chosen the products and vendor, pricing information will now be obtained and then the board will determine the costs to offer sell the items to RUSA members
  10. Permanents Regulations for Organizers Voted and approved the Permanents Regulations for Organizers submitted by Robert Fry, Permanents Chairman.
  11. RBA Reimbursement Program Voted and approved adjustments made to the RBA Reimbursement Program.
