  1. RUSA Secretary Don Hamilton has been elected by the Board as Secretary.
  2. Flèche-USA Rules were voted and approved by the Board.
  3. Dart and Arrow Rules were voted and approved by the Board.
  4. Committee/Officer Reports
    1. Membership--(Don Hamilton): Processing is going well with renewals and new members applications turnaround of a few days.
    2. Treasurer--(Tim Sullivan): RUSA is in a good financial condition at the end of 2003 calendar year.
    3. Brevet Coordinator--(Lois Springsteen): Processing of early season events going well with no major problems with RBAs or the ACP.
    4. Webmaster--(Donn King): Discussion on idea of RUSA providing a listserv similar to RANDON. No Board action yet on idea.
    5. BRM Medals--(Tom Stevenson - email report): New medals have arrived from France. Improvements are being made to the processing process.
    6. RBA Liaison--(Jenn Barber): General discussion on additional help that can be given to RBAs by RUSA. General discussion on handling of insurance for permanents. A sub-group will determine options and present them to the Board.
    7. Newsletter--(Mike Dayton): The May issue is shaping up. Several good comments received on February newsletter especially the quality of the printing.
    8. Souvenir--(Jennifer Wise): Orders for PBP video are down, and the PBP jerseys are still selling. Good inventory of all other items.
    9. PBP Yearbook--(Bill Bryant): Almost ready to turn over to layout person, expected to be out to members in May.
    10. Presidents Report--(Bill Bryant): Currently very busy handling various questions and issues. Doing a lot of work on generating information about Team Randonnée (flèche) events. Assisting the newsletter editor (Mike Dayton) and the Webmaster (Donn King) on information for both venues. Dealing with yearly renewal of organizational insurance policies. Coordinating a special award between the Last Chance, BMB, and in 2005 GRR 1200K events. Working on updating the RUSA Handbook.
  5. Permanents route expansion--(Robert Fry): General discussion on procedures for permanents. Updated version will soon be presented to the Board for consideration.
  6. Review of 2003 Awards Program + looking ahead to 2004--(Mark Thomas): Reviewed numbers of RUSA medals that were processed. A new design will be soon in place for the 2004 medals.
